Prospective students are encouraged to attend a half hour trial lesson prior to committing to a block of lessons.
The Trial Lesson Fee is the same as a half hour lesson ($50).
Instruction will be given in monthly blocks of lessons and are due and payable on the first week of each month.
Lessons are given in my home in Pacific Grove.
There is a $35 recital fee per family for studio recitals.
Parental involvement at home is essential. Even if you aren't musically trained yourself, just being present to keep your child on task and to make sure they are doing everything on their assignment list is extremely helpful. There is a noticeable difference when parents are actively involved in their child’s practice time.
Students must have either a piano or a digital piano with 88 weighted keys at home for daily practice; percussion students must have instruments either at home or accessible at school for practice.

Lessons cancelled by me will result in a credit toward your next month’s lesson fees, or a make-up lesson.
There is no refund of fees. Your payment reserves your space for the month or semester (depending on your payment plan). No refunds will be given for partial months or semesters.
Students’ siblings present during lessons must be supervised by their parent/guardian at all times to minimize distraction.
Although every endeavor will be made to produce excellence in musical skills and standards according to the student’s abilities, in the final analysis, professional advancement and success depends not only on the teacher’s input but also on the student's own initiative, diligence and parental involvement.
